The Story Behind the Master Plan

Dear friend,

Master Plan was born from a question that kept returning.

After years of working as a holistic therapist and sitting with plant medicines in my own process, I witnessed something I could not explain away: that behind the apparent chaos of a human life, there is a structure. A direction. Something that, when you stop long enough to listen, begins to make sense. That recognition became the name. And the name became this.

What we offer is a four-day therapeutic retreat where plant medicines, trauma-informed support, and somatic work come together into a single, structured process. We work with preparation, the plant medicine sessions themselves, and integration as one continuous arc, because what happens before and after the medicine is as essential as what happens within it. We hold a maximum of ten participants per retreat. That is a deliberate choice, so that no one gets lost in the group, and the support we offer is real in both directions.

We work with plant medicines that come from Indigenous traditions with deep roots in human health and psychological healing. We hold them with clinical responsibility, thorough preparation, and full therapeutic support before, during, and after each session.

Healing is a process. Integration is where something experienced in a plant medicine session becomes a life lived differently. Every person who walks through our doors is already carrying what they need. Our work is to hold a structured, safe environment where that can surface and be processed with depth and care.

This is not a retreat for people who want to feel better for a weekend. It is a space for people who are ready to go deeper than understanding. People who have spent years working on themselves and still feel something fundamental has not moved. People who sense that the body holds what the mind has not been able to reach.

Since 2024, we have held these retreats near Barcelona and in Colombia. Each person who has come has left something with us in return.

With care and gratitude,

Feeling drawn to plant medicine?

Samantha Silvany

Samantha Silvany is a Brazilian trauma-informed holistic therapist who has been guiding therapeutic plant medicine retreats and deep emotional healing processes for over five years. Her work is grounded in lived experience, embodied knowledge, and a deep commitment to safety, ethics, and conscious integration.

Based in Barcelona since 2019, Samantha carries a mixed ancestral background that directly shapes how she works and how she understands healing. Through her mother, she descends from Portuguese ancestry; through her father, from African and Indigenous American roots. This convergence informs her sensitivity, her respect for cultural depth, and her understanding of healing as something relational, contextual, and inseparable from history and body.

A bestselling author of books on self-esteem and relationships, her work brings together plant medicine facilitation and holistic therapeutic support. She integrates somatic work, systemic family constellations, parts-based approaches, and embodied presence to support processes of self-inquiry, emotional clarity, and self-awareness.

Her professional path is deeply rooted in the study of trauma and its effects on the body, emotions, and relationships. Her training spans multiple trauma-oriented modalities, including somatic EMDR-informed work and parts-based interventions inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside other somatic and relational frameworks. She has completed the Healing Trauma and Addiction professional training with Dr. Gabor Maté, continues her studies through the Compassionate Inquiry® approach, and is currently in training in Somatic Experiencing, developing a trauma-aware, safety-oriented, and deeply relational way of working.

Her relationship with plant medicines is grounded in respect and clinical responsibility. Through years of personal and professional experience with these substances, she has developed a deep understanding of how they interact with the nervous system, the body’s stored experience, and the psychological processes that surface during and after sessions. This informs how she prepares participants, holds the therapeutic container, and supports integration afterward.

At the heart of this work is the creation of psychologically safe and attuned spaces, where people feel seen, respected, and supported to meet their inner world honestly. Presence is valued over performance, depth over intensity, and real inner movement over peak experiences. Each process is guided by care, responsibility, and grounded therapeutic leadership.

OUR TEAM

Xavi & Silvia

Xavi and Silvia are the founders of Ancient Journey, a musical project devoted to supporting deep emotional processes through sound and live presence.

For over two decades, they have worked together as partners in life and practice. Twenty years of shared experience have shaped both their relationship and the way they hold space for others in group therapeutic settings.

Their work weaves live music, guided breathwork and relaxation, and immersive soundscapes into the plant medicine sessions. Through voice, instruments, and silence, they create an acoustic environment that supports emotional release, nervous system regulation, and inner focus during the sessions.

Beyond music, Xavi and Silvia have extensive experience facilitating group processes involving plant medicines. They work with empathy, attunement, and grounded presence, offering participants emotional support throughout the process.

Their approach is both structured and responsive, planned and adaptive. They work from lived experience and attention to the individual and collective needs of the group.

In our retreats, Xavi and Silvia hold the acoustic environment of each plant medicine session. Their music supports participants in accessing emotional states that are otherwise difficult to reach, and in staying present with what surfaces during the process.

Our team

Clarena Díaz Urueta, MD

Clarena is a Colombian physician whose practice bridges two areas of expertise: Western clinical medicine and a deep familiarity with the traditional healing practices of her home country.

Born and raised in Colombia, Clarena grew up with an understanding of plant medicine traditions that is personal and cultural, not purely academic. She brings that background into her medical work, combining clinical rigor with genuine respect for how these substances have been used to support human health for generations.

Her clinical training covers emergency medicine and toxicology. She has worked in some of the most demanding medical environments in the world, spending years with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) providing frontline care in South Sudan and Kenya. That experience shaped her ability to remain steady under pressure, to make clear decisions quickly, and to be fully present with people in vulnerable states.

At our retreats, Clarena’s role is medical safety. She monitors participants throughout the plant medicine sessions, responds to any physical needs that arise, and ensures that the therapeutic process can unfold without medical concern. Her presence allows facilitators and participants to focus entirely on the work.

She is not there to medicalize the experience. She is there to protect it.

Our team

Cesc Aromir

Cesc Aromir is a somatic facilitator specializing in body-based approaches to emotional processing and self-awareness.

With a background as a Master Practitioner in NLP and Health and a CranioSacral therapist, Cesc integrates therapeutic structure with experiential depth. His work brings together psychology, somatic awareness, and body-based awareness practices, supporting participants in moving from intellectual understanding into embodied experience.

His approach is grounded in trauma-informed principles. He works from the understanding that meaningful change does not come through intensity, but through safety, nervous system regulation, and respectful pacing. Whether working individually, with couples, or in groups, he prioritizes emotional containment and authentic expression.

Through breathwork, movement, conscious touch, and meditation, he supports participants in reconnecting with their physical experience and accessing deeper layers of self-awareness. His presence is grounded and attuned, allowing emotional processes to unfold at a pace the nervous system can integrate.

Cesc has facilitated at retreats and wellness events across Spain. In each setting, he is recognized for his ability to create psychologically safe group environments where emotional honesty is supported and the body is treated as a central part of the process.

At our retreats, Cesc supports the integration work between and after the plant medicine sessions, helping participants move from emotional activation into embodied clarity. His work helps anchor what surfaces during the sessions into the body, supporting more sustainable outcomes.

He works with authenticity, respect, and attention to each person’s individual rhythm.
